  • Google for Education Certified Trainer Program - Google have announced the launch of their new and improved Google for Education Certified Trainer Program. This is for those teachers who would like to earn an official training certification from Google for Education
  • IRIS Connect - John Connell and Andy Pendry, two stalwarts of the Scottish Ed-Tech scene over the past three decades and more, have joined forces to bring IRIS Connect, the leading-edge video-based platform for teacher self-reflection to Scottish education. If you would like a free demo please contact either John or Andy
  • Clicker Apps for Chromebook - Crick Software have release two apps for Chromebook - Clicker Sentences and Clicker Docs. These aps give learners access to proven literacy support tools developed specifically for Chromebooks

FREE Resources

  • To celebrate National Novel Writing Month and as part of the NaNoWriMo project, BrainPOP UK are encouraging students in creative writing. You can check out their blog and get access to free support materials
  • Imovesdance are offering teachers free webinars. The objective behind them is for you to develop a basic understand of teaching dance in primary school and introduce proven techniques to help find the beat of the music, explore 32 count music structure and the six principles of dance. You can expect to take away from the webinars, more confidence in delivering dance, simple yet effective teaching methods, practical hints and tips, understand how to assess and progress children through. Competition

  • 67 Days of Design - Practical Action have teamed up with Autodesk to develop new a Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) design challenge. Students aged 13 plus, address the real world problem to bring suitable WASH services to people living in the township of Diepsloot, South Africa. You can register for the challenge and download the WASH Community Design Challenge Curriculum, a comprehensive set of classroom resources and learning materials to equip students and educators around the world to get involved in this real-life design project
