  • The High School of Glasgow are hosting a number of Tablet Academy Scotland training courses - Flipping Your Classroom; iPad and Tablets in the Language Classroom with Tablets and Using iPads and Tablets in Early Years.   • Prowise are hosting a special event on 4th December to a specially selected audience from across Scotland with a view to introducing their products to Scottish education. For more information please click here
  • Kennoway Primary and Community School in Fife is the first primary school to pilot an Ultimaker 3D Printer. A case on how it was implemented will be available in the new year
  • Education Scotland have successfully negotiated with SMART for a brand new software licensing scheme to allow Scottish education to purchase the latest version of the SMART Notebook software at the lowest possible price. The scheme is based on all classroom boards being covered and allows teachers to use the SMART Notebook software on both SMART Boards and panels and non-SMART Boards and panels.   • SMARTNotebook Software -the last free version of SMARTNotebook software is only available as a download and subject to restrictions from SMART. This version of the software is coming to its end of life shortly however no date has been confirmed
  • Autodesk Certified User (ACU) Exams - Prodigy Learning have extended their special offer to Scottish Schools to purchase the exam through 3DMadeEasy and receive the practice exam free of charge. Offer ends 31st December 2015. For more information please contact Kim

Not only will children have fun practising their times tables, they must also employ strategy and logical thinking to succeed!   • BrainPOP UK have added a new 'learn to code' game called Codemonkey
  • Co:Writer Universal Online Subscription for iPad, Chromebook and Desktop - Co:Writer Universal is now available as annual online licence. Based on either the number of users or 'seats' you require. An unlimited site licence is also available. Licences are automatically renewed unless you choose to opt out of the renewal.
